Roscoe Village

Nestled next to Lakeview on Chicago’s north side, Roscoe Village has a small town feeling and is known for being friendly and laid-back.  Many families have chosen to call it home, and the neighborhood shows it:  strollers dot the sidewalks, Fellger Playlot Park buzzes with play dates, and children’s learning centers keep kids busy with activities and classes.

Don’t feel unwelcome, however, if you don’t have kids.  Roscoe Village hosts the city’s third largest street festival, Retro on Roscoe, and is home to dozens of locally-owned restaurants, casual pubs and wine bars.  The main thoroughfare of Roscoe Street hosts several unique shops and boutiques, perfect shopping for a funky gift, upscale babywear, vintage clothes or designer home accessories.
