Streeterville

Streeterville is the neighborhood that started on a beer budget, but now enjoys its very fine champagne tastes.  What once was marshland was developed with landfill from the Great Chicago Fire in 1871, and from that great feat rose one of the city’s most upscale, luxury neighborhoods.

Home to several historic and visited destinations – Navy Pier, art galleries, the Signature Room at the John Hancock Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Ohio Street Beach and S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G! – Streeterville is the pulse of much of the city’s action.  The luxe homes in this neighborhood tend to be vertical, with coveted vintage condo buildings, sleek townhome developments and lush high-rises making up most of the residential landscape.
